This bag was made by using a pattern by Merita at Burda Style. The instructions were very easy to follow. I made this bag because I needed something small as a overnight bag and although there are many pre-made bags out in the world, i wanted something that I could use for work or everyday use.
When I was looking for fabric, I wasn't looking for anything in particular. However when I came across this fabric, I thought it was perfect as it had my favourite things, strawberries and polka dots. I adding the pink ribbon to break up the handles and sections of the bag. I also added in a pink fabric lining. To make it a little more sturdy, I had some cream vinyl lying around and sewn this in between the outer fabric and lining.
